			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I gave in to some of my base consumerist urges recently and bought a <a href="http://www.adorama.com/INKD40K.html?searchinfo=d40&#038;item_no=1" title="Nikon D40 at Adorama">Nikon D40</a> digital <acronym title="Single Lens Reflex">SLR</acronym> camera from <a href="http://www.adorama.com">Adorama</a>. Although I haven&#8217;t had it for a very long time, and I&#8217;m no way qualified to evaluate its technical merits (though I hope to be at some point), I&#8217;ve found it to be a really nice camera for beginners: easy to use right out of the package, and easy to take good pictures with. I took it around for a test run around State College, PA and took a bunch of random pictures:<br />
